In the article by Salmen et al, the first sentence of the abstract has been corrected to change ''1 of 2 million Americans'' to ''500,000 Americans''.The full corrected sentence is as follows:Lyme disease is due to infection from the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi, transmitted by blacklegged (genus Ixodes) ticks that yearly affects almost 500,000 Americans, with an expanding geographic range.
