A call for shared digital infrastructure in travel medicine: the travel health data commons
Travel medicine needs shared digital standards and resources. We propose a Travel Health Data Commons (THDC) encompassing consensus case definitions, common questionnaires, interoperable data formats and reusable software modules. This will lower costs, facilitate disease surveillance, and response, improve clinical guidance, and spur innovation, and collaboration. THDC website is https://travelhealthdatacommons.org.
