ZFL-FEL: Resolving Singularities and Infinity via Geometric Theory of Finite Accumulation of Infinite Loss (FAIL)

ZFL–FEL (Zero-closure Linear Flow – False Escape Loop) is a phenomenological framework that reinterprets time, cosmic expansion, and material stability through the lens of asymptotic resolution refinement rather than fundamental spacetime dynamics. Instead of treating time as an independent dimension or universal expansion as a literal stretching of spacetime, this work proposes that both phenomena arise from a synchronized refinement of scale affecting the observer, the measuring apparatus, and baryonic matter itself. Within this view, temporal flow is formalized by the FAIL equation (Finite Accumulation of Infinite Loss), where time emerges as a cumulative index of irreversible refinement approaching—but never reaching—zero resolution. The framework introduces: ZFL (Zero-closure Linear Flow): a non-closed, topologically open flow that enforces temporal irreversibility and prevents cyclic closure. FEL (False Escape Loop): locally stable, self-maintaining structures that appear closed to internal observers while remaining dynamically embedded in the open ZFL flow. A 4-Axis Linear System {X, Y, Z, T}: describing ordering, coupling, orthogonality, and helical refinement as the minimal structural engine underlying baryonic matter. ZFL–FEL does not reject existing physical theories. Instead, it recontextualizes general relativity, cosmic expansion, and quantum uncertainty as observer-bound projections within a refinement-driven geometry. In this interpretation, dark energy, temporal arrows, and structural persistence arise without invoking new forces or additional dimensions. This work is intended as a standalone phenomenological bridge theory for researchers who retain the concept of time while seeking a coherent explanation for non-closure, irreversibility, and apparent expansion within known physics. The deeper generative principles (e.g., SRC–TAC) are intentionally left outside the scope of this paper.
