Digitalization of urban agglomerations is the main trend in their development

This article presents the results of the author's research into the digitalization of urban agglomerations. The author examines the formation and development of urban agglomerations, identifying their advantages and disadvantages. Best practices for implementing smart city technologies and artificial intelligence in urban agglomeration management in Russia and abroad are explored. The article identifies key trends in urban agglomeration development and the challenges that arise during their formation and development. Proposals for addressing these challenges and prospects for the digitalization of urban agglomerations are presented.
