The increasing interest in 3D printing technology is visible both among the average consumer and due to the fact that recently this technology has become quite affordable. In the context of the current pandemic, the use of a 3D printer has played an essential role. It has been proven that using 3D printing technology could save lives when the medical system reached a standstill due to an acute shortage of ventilation valves used in some ventilators.
