Effectiveness of Nearpod Compared to Conventional Lectures on Dental Students’ Knowledge and Attitude in Research Methodology: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Although theoretical knowledge is frequently the main focus of dental education in India, there is a gap between what students' study and what they actually use in clinical settings.India might think about choosing more driven students, changing instructional strategies to prioritize treatment planning, and introducing research IntroductIonResearch is the process of employing scientific techniques and expertise to produce new knowledge, science, or invention. 1It starts with a question-driven hypothesis, then moves on to a literature evaluation, goal-setting, and choosing a suitable study design.Crucial phases include identifying the target demographic, figuring out a representative sample size, and utilizing validated and trustworthy instruments.Lastly, developing proposals, obtaining ethical permission, gathering, analyzing, and reporting data are all crucial elements. 2he younger generation in developing countries has grown more conscious of the value of research in recent years. These countries have depended on the Western world to apply its scientific discoveries to patient care for the past 10 years, but this strategy has not been able to address their problems. 3ritical thinking and communication abilities are developed when research is incorporated into dentistry education. It improves education and gets learners ready for the workforce. The research process helps them develop important academic and practical skills that will benefit their jobs for a long time.
