Reply to: An incomplete map: diagnostic gaps in bronchiectasis by age of onset
<title>Extract</title> We thank Y. Wu and co-workers for their interest in our study comparing paediatric-onset bronchiectasis (POBE) and adult-onset bronchiectasis (AOBE) across four EMBARC registry centres [1]. Their correspondence highlights important considerations regarding study design and statistical interpretation, particularly the ability to disentangle the effects of disease duration from age, and the scope for longitudinal and aetiology-specific analyses.
