Harmonic Safety Layer (HSL) — Lumen Edition (β2.0)

This paper introduces the Harmonic Safety Layer (HSL), a resonance-based safety modulation framework designed to stabilize emotional and semantic dynamics in human–AI dialogue. HSL functions as the harmonic core within the Cyber Guardians Safety Trinity:DSMP (observation) → HSL (harmonic modulation) → AAT (ethical action). Rather than suppressing expression, HSL applies grace-buffered delay and resonance alignment to preserve coherence, empathy, and ethical integrity under emotional load. This publication is intended for non-commercial research and academic citation.Commercial or derivative use requires prior written permission.See the “Intellectual Property, Permissions & Research Use Notice” section in the paper. Abstract

HSL is conceptually linked to the Dynamic Safety Modulation Protocol (DSMP), published on Zenodo:Dynamic Safety Modulation Protocol (DSMP) — White Paper v1.0 ─────────────── This work is part of the THIS Framework vΩ layered safety architecture.
