Experiences and Needs of Healthcare Providers Supporting Males with Suicidal Thoughts
This mixed-method study provides valuable insights into the needs and experiences of HCPs in supporting males with suicidal thoughts. The findings underscore the importance of gender-responsive practices in mental healthcare to address systemic barriers faced by males with suicidal ideation. Tailored interventions, destigmatization efforts, and enhanced HCP training are essential to improve engagement and outcomes for this high-risk group.
