The Three-Timestamp Model: How Adrenaline Can Pause Time for a Person

This research presents a new theoretical model for understanding the perception of time under extreme adrenaline conditions. The model introduces the concept of temporal decoupling, where an object (T₁) experiencing high adrenaline temporarily decouples from the normal flow of time. This leads to the perception that time has slowed down for the individual while they are in the adrenaline state. Once the adrenaline effect subsides, the object resynchronizes with the universal timeline.

Abstract

This research presents a new theoretical model for understanding the perception of time under extreme adrenaline conditions. The model introduces the concept of temporal decoupling, where an object (T₁) experiencing high adrenaline temporarily decouples from the normal flow of time. This leads to the perception that time has slowed down for the individual while they are in the adrenaline state. Once the adrenaline effect subsides, the object resynchronizes with the universal timeline.
