A dataset of the statistics on wholesale beef prices in China from 2011 to 2022

<p indent="0mm">Beef is one of the important sources of protein, and its historical price data is of great significance for analyzing future price trends and formulating agricultural market policies. Based on beef market transaction price data provided by the National Key Agricultural Products Market Information Platform, and adhering to principles of data consistency, continuity, and completeness, the raw data underwent screening, processing, refinement, and verification. This process resulted in the construction of a statistical dataset covering China′s wholesale beef market prices from 2011 to 2022. This dataset includes monthly average wholesale prices and rate-of-change information for beef markets nationwide and across 16 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities), supplemented by extended analysis and corresponding line charts depicting monthly average wholesale prices and rate-of-change trends. The establishment of this dataset provides basic scientific data for price prediction and decision support in the beef market.
