Augmented reality for environmental sustainability in event management and visualization

In today's dynamic event management landscape, the ability to visualize and plan events effectively is crucial for success. This paper presents an innovative approach to event planning and management through the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Our project, titled “Augmented Reality Enhanced Event Visualization and Management,” introduces a web-based platform that allows users to create, manage, and visualize events in a virtual environment before they occur. The platform provides a user-friendly interface for event organizers to select venues, customize event setups, and interact with a 3D visualization of their events using AR technology. Beyond improving visualization and decision-making, this project also contributes to environmental sustainability. These sustainability features position AR technology as a transformative tool for the event management industry, making planning more efficient, interactive, and environmentally responsible. The platform's core features include event customization, immersive 3D previews, and seamless event management tools. By optimizing resource utilization and encouraging virtual or hybrid event planning, it lowers energy consumption and promotes eco-friendly event setups.
