Access to physician-based Helicopter Emergency Medical Services in the UK: a service analysis in 2024
Both geographical and temporal variations in access to a physician-based HEMS remain across the UK, although there has been improvement since 2009. However, within this provision, variation exists in terms of interventions provided such as the provision of blood products.
