Potential Applications of Nano Silver Fluoride in the Prevention of Dental Caries in Older Adults: A Scoping Review
This scoping review reveals a complete absence of clinical evidence regarding the use of Nano Silver Fluoride in adults aged 60 years or older. Although NSF has shown promising results in younger populations and is chemically related to SDF, its effectiveness and safety in geriatric dentistry remain unknown. High-quality clinical studies in older adults are urgently needed.
