Details of exposure during childhood of the original children (G1s) in the ALSPAC study to aspects of religious faith and spirituality.

<ns3:p> Information collected from the study parents on their own religious and spiritual beliefs and behaviours during the first 9 years following the birth of the ALSPAC study children has been documented previously in a Data Note. Here we describe the data collected on their <ns3:italic>children’s</ns3:italic> exposures to, and participation in, religious and/or spiritual events during their childhoods (defined as <25 years). Information available includes their exposures whether via school, places of worship or more informal gatherings. We describe the variables available and the frequencies of response and show the differences between the boys and girls (using sex ascribed at birth). Ways in which researchers can apply for appropriate data to analyse are described. </ns3:p>
