Potensi 10-Gingerol Dalam Ekstrak Zingiber Officinale Sebagai Agen Anti-Kanker Pada Sel Cumulus Oophorus (Q.S. Al-Insan: 17) (sertifikat hak cipta)
The mention of Zingiber officinale (ginger) in Q.S. Al-Insan (76):17 through the term zanjabīl, described as a drink of Paradise, carries symbolic meaning and scientific implications regarding its potential health benefits. This verse serves as the foundation for examining the curative value of ginger through a scientific exegesis approach. The study adopts a thematic (maudhū‘ī) and scientific methodology, analyzing the interpretations of both classical and contemporary Qur’anic commentators on the term zanjabīl, and integrating them with scientific data on the composition and health benefits of Zingiber officinale. Scientifically, ginger is known to contain over 400 bioactive compounds, most of which belong to the gingerol group, with 10-gingerol demonstrating the strongest anti-carcinogenic activity. The study also involves laboratory testing using ultrasonic extraction, a method that effectively breaks down plant cell walls to release active compounds. The resulting extract was applied to ovarian cancer cell lines to assess its anti-cancer and anti-proliferative properties. The findings indicate that the bioactive compounds in ginger hold significant potential as anti-cancer agents, reinforcing the scientific relevance of the divine indication found in the verse. This study highlights the importance of integrating revealed texts with scientific discoveries to address contemporary health issues.
