In this work, a ZnFe2O4-reduced graphene oxide (ZF-rG) nanocomposite was prepared via a solvothermal method and evaluated for its electrochemical performance in a 1M KOH electrolyte, demonstrating its potential for supercapacitor applications. The results of cyclic voltammetry (CV) show that dominant diffusion-controlled charge storage is responsible for the specific capacitance of 62.9 F/g at 5 mV/s. A maximum energy density of 9.32 Wh/kg and a power density of 4500 W/kg are shown by galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) analysis, validating the material's high-rate capacity. A charge transfer resistance $(R_{\text {ct}})$ of 69.66 Ω and a low equivalent series resistance (ESR) of 3.04 Ω have been obtained in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), indicating improved conductivity and effective charge transfer. The combined action of ZnFe2O4 and rGO enhances electrochemical behaviour, which makes ZF-rG as an attractive choice for next-gen supercapacitors.
