Navigating AI in Academic Publishing: Open Book Publishers - a use case

This presentation was delivered as part of the 'AI and Publishing' webinar, organised by the Open Institutional Publishing Association (OIPA), held on 5 June 2025 (14:00-15:30). It details how AI is both enhancing efficiency and presenting ethical challenges for scholarly publishers, specifically looking at the experience at Open Book Publishers (OBP) and touching upon the University of Michigan Press experience.
