A New Ostrocoda Genus Jhurancythere from the Kimmeridgian Beds of Jhuran Formation, Kachchh Basin, Gujarat, India

A new genus Jhurancythere Kumari et Mahalakshmi gen. nov. of Family Cytherideidae is described herein with one new species, J. austerata Kumari et Mahalakshmi from the Kimmeridgian (Upper Jurassic) beds of Jhuran Formation, Kachchh Mainland, Gujarat, India.
