A time synchronization optimization algorithm based on SharkNet

In distributed measurement and control systems, high-precision time synchronization algorithm is an important guarantee to ensure the correctness of event sequence and data consistency between nodes. As a network applied to distributed measurement and control systems, SharkNet has higher requirements for time synchronization precision. Therefore, this paper proposes a high-precision progressive all network time synchronization algorithm, which combines the progressive all network time synchronization mechanism with the clock frequency compensation algorithm. It can effectively alleviate the problem of exponential growth of time deviation caused by the increase in the number of devices. The experimental results show that under the conditions of 80MHz clock frequency and 13.11ms sending interval, the maximum time offset between the 5-hop slave clock and the master clock is only 70ns. This algorithm can achieve nanosecond time synchronization precision, which can meet the strict requirements of future distributed measurement and control systems for high-precision time synchronization.
