WATER RESOURCE, POLLUTION, CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT: A CASE STUDY OF NAMBUL RIVER, MANIPUR, INDIA

The Nambul River is one of the important drainages of the Imphal city, Manipur. This river is facing a number of problems on pollution, sewage dumping, and recycling or water treatment of it. It has one of the most polluted river water in the state. The Nambul River play a big role in the hydrological parameters of the Loktak Lake in the state, as it is a sub basin of the Loktak basin.
