A Collapse-Sequence Model for Fast Radio Bursts

This work introduces a structural model for Fast Radio Burst (FRB) activity based on a collapse sequence architecture. Instead of attributing FRB variability to changes in the physical properties of the source, the model treats burst timing as the output of an internal state reset process with well defined geometric constraints. The framework unifies short, medium, and long interval behavior, explains heavy tailed burst distributions, accounts for apparent non repetition as a sampling effect, and predicts natural transitions between high and low activity phases without requiring environmental changes. Because the mechanism depends on internal state geometry rather than host specific conditions, the model predicts universal timing structure across diverse galaxies and redshifts. These predictions are directly testable with existing FRB catalogs and long baseline monitoring campaigns.
