The Hydrothermal Treatment Effect on the Transverse Relaxivity Values of DyF 3 Nanoparticles Colloidal Solutions

The effect of hydrothermal (classic autoclave and microwave irradiation) treatment on the transverse relaxivity of colloidal solutions of DyF 3 nanoparticles was studied. The colloidal solutions of the DyF 3 nanoparticles with different concentrations were studied by 1 H NMR. The 1 H transverse nuclear magnetization decay curves were measured in magnetic fields of 0.6 T, 3.65 T and 9.4 T at room temperature. Based on the obtained [Formula: see text] values, the DyF 3 nanoparticles may be classified as [Formula: see text] MRI contrast agents. It has been shown that the sample with treatment in a classic autoclave has the highest transverse relaxation rate compared to the sample without treatment and treatment in a microwave oven. The optimal size of DyF 3 nanoparticles for their use as a contrast agent for magnetic resonance imaging for different magnetic fields were determined.
