Study on positional parameters of one-suction three-blow method for road cleaning based on investigation of particle phase field simulation
To improve the cleaning performance of road sweepers, a cleaning method of one-suction three-blow was proposed utilizing a suction nozzle, a main blow nozzle, and two auxiliary blow nozzles installed in the central area under sweepers. Orthogonal design and weight matrix methods were applied to analyze the effects of the positional parameters of a one-suction three-blow cleaning device on its cleaning performance. Also, the effect of each positional parameter on cleaning performance was examined using control variable tests. Additionally, the dust removal rate per unit power was innovatively proposed to evaluate cleaning performance. The findings indicate that when the blow and suction nozzles can work together for sweeping a task, their positional parameters affect the comprehensive cleaning performance in descending order: the angle between the blow nozzles and the ground, the angle between the suction nozzle and the ground, the angle between the auxiliary blow nozzles and the main blow nozzle, and the distance between the main blow nozzle and the suction nozzle. For the optimal cleaning performances, the initial setting is suggested as follows: set the initial angle between the suction nozzle and the ground as a large acute angle; set the initial angle between the blow nozzles and the ground as a small acute angle; search for the suitable ranges of both the angle between the auxiliary blowing nozzle and the main blowing nozzle, and the distance between the blowing nozzle and the suction nozzle; pay more attention to the angle between the suction nozzle and the floor when considering power consumption.
