Goldenhar Syndrome - A Case Report with Review of Literature
Goldenhar Syndrome (GS) is a rare congenital disorder arising from the defects in first and second branchial arches. It is characterized by a wide spectrum of symptoms that vary in severity and include facial abnormalities, microtia or anotia, vertebral anomalies and eye abnormalities. Although there is no exact cause identified, it is thought to be disruption of early embryonic development of the affected tissues.
