The heavy fermion compound <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <a:mrow> <a:msub> <a:mi>CeRu</a:mi> <a:mn>4</a:mn> </a:msub> <a:msub> <a:mi>Sn</a:mi> <a:mn>6</a:mn> </a:msub> </a:mrow> </a:math> was recently shown to exhibit a spontaneous nonlinear Hall effect, indicating its topological nature. This is consistent with the lack of inversion symmetry that allows for the existence of Weyl nodes. Here, we employ density functional theory combined with dynamical mean field theory, which is state of the art for strongly correlated materials, and study the topology of <b:math xmlns:b="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <b:mrow> <b:msub> <b:mi>CeRu</b:mi> <b:mn>4</b:mn> </b:msub> <b:msub> <b:mi>Sn</b:mi> <b:mn>6</b:mn> </b:msub> </b:mrow> </b:math> . We find five inequivalent Weyl nodes of either type I or II, each having either 8 or 16 symmetry-related replicas. These Weyl nodes bridge the Kondo insulating gap, which is a direct but not an indirect gap. The Weyl points closest to the Fermi level are situated only 0.5 meV below it and have a very flat dispersion. Our results establish <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <c:mrow> <c:msub> <c:mi>CeRu</c:mi> <c:mn>4</c:mn> </c:msub> <c:msub> <c:mi>Sn</c:mi> <c:mn>6</c:mn> </c:msub> </c:mrow> </c:math> as a model system for investigating the interplay between strong electronic correlations and nontrivial topology. These findings provide a theoretical foundation for future studies of quantum transport and interaction-driven topological phases in heavy fermion systems.
