D3.2 Near-IR Communication System Construction
D3.2 details the development, implementation, and preliminary testing of the OPTI-6G optical wireless communication system prototype. It describes the realisation of custom optical front-end modules and up/down-converter boards, crucial forintegrating 5G radio waveforms with the optical domain, and their successful integration into a functional hybrid platform. Preliminary tests confirm design adherence, setting the stage for advanced validation of ultra-reliable, high-speed 6G industrial applications.
