Bilateral Central Serous Chorioretinopathy in a Patient With XYY Syndrome
Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) is a common retinopathy that classically presents with unilateral vision loss in young men. Bilateral disease is less common and has not been reported in XYY syndrome. We present the first reported case of a 21-year-old male with XYY syndrome who developed bilateral serous detachments and propose an underlying pathophysiology.
