Analysis of Power Frequency Electric Field in Multi-Transmission Lines on the Same Tower Using the APSO-Simulated Charge Method

Introduction: With the rapid development of extra-high voltage transmission lines, it has become essential to accurately evaluate the influence of wire parameters and environmental factors on the distribution of electric fields for effective electromagnetic environment governance. This study aims to address this need by constructing a high-precision electric field calculation model. Methods: A three-dimensional electric field calculation model was proposed that integrates the dynamic sag characteristics of conductors. An Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization (APSO) algorithm was introduced to quantitatively analyze the coupling mechanism of multiple parameters, such as conductor diameter, split spacing, and phase sequence arrangement. The APSO algorithm was used to optimize the electric field calculation, minimizing errors. Results & Discussion: The application of the APSO algorithm reduced the calculation error from 8.4% to 0.2%, with the error of the electric field intensity directly below the wire decreasing to 1.5%. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed governance strategies effectively reduced electric field intensity, highlighting the efficiency of the model in electromagnetic environment assessment and parameter optimization for extra-high voltage transmission lines. Conclusion: The proposed model and APSO algorithm provide a high-precision tool for electromagnetic environment assessment and the parameter optimization design of extra-high voltage transmission lines. The study also offers practical governance strategies for reducing electric field impact, which can support electric field regulation and line corridor planning in engineering practice.

Abstract

Introduction: With the rapid development of extra-high voltage transmission lines, it has become essential to accurately evaluate the influence of wire parameters and environmental factors on the distribution of electric fields for effective electromagnetic environment governance.
