The Influence Enjoyment Factors on Exercise Flow and Exercise Satisfaction among Park Golf Participants

This study aimed to examine the effects of enjoyment factors on exercise flow and exercise satisfaction among Park Golf participants. A total of 323 valid responses were collected from Park Golf club members in Daejeon and Sejong. The questionnaire consisted of four sub-factors of enjoyment—interest, health, fellowship, and recognition—along with measures of exercise flow and satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that interest, health, and recognition had significant positive effects on exercise flow, while fellowship was not significant. All enjoyment factors positively influenced exercise satisfaction, with interest and recognition showing the strongest effects. Exercise flow had the most powerful impact on exercise satisfaction and partially mediated the relationship between enjoyment and satisfaction. These findings suggest that intrinsic enjoyment and a sense of achievement enhance flow, leading to higher satisfaction. Therefore, Park Golf can be considered an effective lifelong sport that promotes physical health and psychological well-being among older adults.

These findings suggest that intrinsic enjoyment and a sense of achievement enhance flow, leading to higher satisfaction. Therefore, Park Golf can be considered an effective lifelong sport that promotes physical health and psychological well-being among older adults.
