Squeezed effect on the Hanbury Brown–Twiss interferometry with nonzero chemical potential
In this paper, we analyze the impact of the squeezing effect on the Hanbury Brown–Twiss (HBT) interferometry of two identical bosons with nonzero chemical potential. The squeezing effect is caused by the in-medium mass modification of bosons. The impact of the squeezing effect on the HBT results of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] is presented. The squeezing effect similarly affects the HBT results of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] when the in-medium chemical potential ([Formula: see text]) of D meson is zero, eventually leading to non-flow behavior in the HBT radii for the expanding sources. For [Formula: see text] 0, the squeezing effect differentially influences the source distributions of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. This leads to observable differences in the HBT radii between [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], with the discrepancy becoming more significant at larger [Formula: see text]. The study in this paper may offer fresh way to investigate the properties of hadrons in the medium with nonzero chemical potential.
