Early release of low-frequency atlas of continuous gravitational waves
We present the public release of the low-frequency atlas of continuous gravitational waves, covering signals with frequencies from 20 Hz to 200 Hz and frequency derivatives from <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <a:mrow> <a:mo>−</a:mo> <a:mn>5</a:mn> </a:mrow> <a:mo>×</a:mo> <a:msup> <a:mn>10</a:mn> <a:mrow> <a:mo>−</a:mo> <a:mn>11</a:mn> </a:mrow> </a:msup> </a:math> to <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <c:mn>5</c:mn> <c:mo>×</c:mo> <c:msup> <c:mn>10</c:mn> <c:mrow> <c:mo>−</c:mo> <c:mn>11</c:mn> </c:mrow> </c:msup> <c:mtext> </c:mtext> <c:mtext> </c:mtext> <c:mi>Hz</c:mi> <c:mo>/</c:mo> <c:mi mathvariant="normal">s</c:mi> </c:math> . Compared to the previous atlas releases, this version demonstrates significant improvements in sensitivity and sky resolution. In the most sensitive region, even the worst-case upper limits on gravitational wave strain are below <f:math xmlns:f="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <f:msup> <f:mn>10</f:mn> <f:mrow> <f:mo>−</f:mo> <f:mn>25</f:mn> </f:mrow> </f:msup> </f:math> . The atlas data are being released ahead of the completion of the full follow-up analysis.
