Serum Resistin and High-sensitivity C-reactive Protein as Independent Predictors of Vascular Complications in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: A Cross-sectional Observational Study at a Tertiary Care Center
Elevated serum resistin (notably in AMI) and hs-CRP (in both AMI and AIS) in T2DM patients highlight a strong association between inflammation and acute vascular events. These biomarkers may serve as accessible tools for early risk stratification and targeted preventive strategies in high-risk diabetic populations.
