A Novel Tanh‐Driven Chaotic System for Improved Random Number Generation in Image Encryption

ABSTRACT The intrinsic complexity and unpredictable nature of chaotic systems have drawn a lot of interest in the domains of safe data transfer and cryptography in recent years. This work investigates the use of a new dynamic system in the chaotic domain for image encryption and random number generation, highlighting how it might improve security by generating pseudo‐random sequences. Lyapunov exponents, equilibrium points, and bifurcation are all included in the analysis, which offers a solid foundation for comprehending chaotic behavior. We present a new random number generation technique and prove its effectiveness with significant tests to determine the system's applicability. The implementation of an encryption and decryption process is also covered in the study. This process is assessed using a variety of security metrics, such as key space, information entropy, correlation coefficients, histogram analysis, and measures of pixel change intensity.
