Methodological approaches to assessing competitiveness

The article systematizes the main methods for assessing competitiveness, partially tested for agricultural products. It shows the variety of methods used, the use of which is determined by the assessment goals, product features, measurability of characteristics. The construction of a competitiveness polygon for wheat grain in the Orenburg region in 2021 and 2024 indicates a deterioration in the quality of grain and, accordingly, a decrease in its competitiveness. The effect of transport costs on the decrease in product price competitiveness is shown.
