Dynamical Matching in an Asymmetric and Stretched Caldera Potential Energy Surface
In this work, we apply the method of Lagrangian Descriptors (LDs) to an asymmetric and stretched Caldera-type Potential Energy Surface (PES). This PES presents four index-1 saddles that are surrounding the central area where there is a minimum. The LDs method shows transport mechanism in the phase space that governs the presence or absence of dynamical matching on this type of a PES.
