Utilizing Telepresence Robots in Undergraduate Nursing Simulations
The integration of distance nursing students via telepresence robots in synchronous nursing simulations with face-to-face counterparts enhances peer-to-peer learning, reduces transactional distance, and increases a sense of belongingness. Theoretical perspectives supporting the adoption of this technology offer valuable insights into the implementation process, highlighting the importance of clear instructions and support for successful integration. Overall, the use of telepresence robots in nursing simulations shows promise in preparing students for real-world practice in technologically advanced healthcare environments.
