A Study on an Education Model for Video Storytelling Using AI-Based Image Generation Prompts

This study develops an instructional model for video storytelling using AI-based image generation and examines its educational effectiveness. Using Lee Mirinae’s novel Eight Lives of the Nameless Woman, students engaged in project-based learning: reading one chapter per week, extracting key key-words, generating AI prompts, creating images, and producing videos with Adobe sofeware. Analysis of qualitative data from 46 students showed improvements in prompt-writing, content planning, and video producing skills. Learners also produced diverse video outcomes from the same source text, demonstrating enhanced creativity and narrative interpretation. The study suggests a new AI-assisted model for video contents education and highlights the potential of AI tools in creative and digital literacy instruction.
