Dual‐Driven Janus Nanomotors Combined with a Size‐Shrinkage Strategy for Enhanced Tumor Penetration and Synergistic Chemo/Photothermal/Photodynamic Therapy (Adv. Funct. Mater. 43/2025)
Synergistic Chemo/Photothermal/Photodynamic Therapy In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202510089), Jiajun Huang, Hao Fu, Xinya Han, and co-workers report a dual-driven Janus nanomotors encapsulated in acid-responsive metal–organic frameworks. Rapid self-propelled motion and size reduction combine to facilitate nanoparticle penetration in tumor tissue. Doxorubicin, ROS generated during tandem catalysis, and localized high temperatures achieve synergistic chemo/photothermal/photodynamic tumor therapy.
