Title: Social Media Platform for College Communication Using MERN Stack
This research presents the design and development of a college-specific social media platform aimed at improving academic communication and collaboration within higher education institutions. Existing communication tools often lack academic focus, data privacy, and centralized information sharing. The proposed system leverages the MERN stack to provide secure authentication, structured academic interactions, and scalable performance. The platform supports academic posts, discussions, and campus event announcements while ensuring user privacy and institutional control. Performance evaluation demonstrates efficient response times, stable scalability, and enhanced user engagement. The results confirm that a dedicated academic social platform can significantly reduce reliance on external social media and improve institutional communication efficiency.
