Attitudes toward the use of technology among patients with atrial fibrillation
Digital tools are increasingly being leveraged in managing atrial fibrillation (AF). They empower patients to be more active in their care and generate real-time data informing personalized management by clinicians. While prior studies reported on wearable device use among patients with AF1-3, there is limited data on the adoption of smart devices; little is known about which aspects of AF care are supported with these devices, or what the patient-perceived barriers to broader adoption are. We aim to address these gaps.
