Ag(I)‐Catalyzed Annulation/Hydrophosphination of Enynones: Access to 2‐Naphthylmethyl Phosphine Oxides

ABSTRACT An Ag(I)‐catalyzed consecutive annulation/hydrophosphination of enynones with diaryl phosphine oxides has been developed, enabling the efficient one‐step synthesis of diverse (1‐hydroxynaphthalen‐2‐yl)methyl phosphine oxides in moderate to excellent yields. This transformation features mild reaction conditions, high efficiency, good substituent tolerance and excellent atom economy.
