Voynich MS 408 THE QUEVEDO WHEEL MECHANISM: Engineering Blueprints for the Hardware-Generated Syntax
Contact and Reference Information - Author: Steven Alexander Quevedo Vinuez- Contact: [email protected] Structure of Versions (The Industrial Codex Roadmap) V1: The Genesis: Initial discovery of the hardware-constrained hypothesis and the mechanical cipher logic of MS 408. V2: The Theory: Scientific validation of the Gallow-Lock mechanism and the historical framework of the Medici alum monopoly. V3: The Manual: Operational protocol for decryption, featuring the line-by-line technical reconstruction of Folio 78r. V4: The Blueprints: Deterministic engineering reconstruction of the Quevedo Wheel. This version provides the mechanical schematics, the "Gallow-Lock" ratchet logic, and the statistical proof of indistinguishability via Python simulation. Version 4 of The Industrial Codex transitions from theoretical decryption to the deterministic reconstruction of the Quevedo Wheel (c. 1460), a mechanical multiplexer designed for the 15th-century Alum Monopoly. By rejecting the linguistic paradigm, this research identifies MS 408 as a hardware-generated data stream. We provide empirical proof via the Jaccard Anomaly ($J \approx 0.08$), demonstrating a degree of inter-line lexical independence characteristic of discrete state-machine logging rather than natural language. This release presents the engineering blueprints for the "Gallow-Lock" mechanism—a ratchet-and-pawl system where specific input levers (P, F, T, K) physically govern syntax and repetition limits. Furthermore, the Currier A/B "dialects" are reclassified as output from interchangeable Modular Cartridges. Validation is achieved via a Python simulator, producing synthetic text that a machine learning classifier cannot reliably distinguish from the original. This research concludes that MS 408 is the world’s first algorithmically generated book.
