Influence of Zn²⁺ and S²⁻ on the Formation of CsPbBr3 Nanocrystals in Fluorophosphate Glass

This work validated a two-step formation mechanism of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals in glass, consisting of a phase separation and subsequent phase transition towards the nanocrystal formation. Further adjustment over the kinetics of the two processes was achieved by the incorporation of Zn²⁺ and S²⁻, leading to improved optical performance.

Abstract

This work validated a two-step formation mechanism of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals in glass, consisting of a phase separation and subsequent phase transition towards the nanocrystal formation. Further adjustment over the kinetics of the two processes was achieved by the incorporation of Zn²⁺ and S²⁻, leading to improved optical performance.
