An Internal Pressure-induced Phase-field Model for Fracture in Voided Solids: Effects of Internal Pressure, External Loading and Geometry on Crack Behavior
In the framework of finite strain, a phase-field model for internal pressure-induced fracture is developed, and its accuracy is verified through two-dimensional benchmark problems. On this basis, the effects of preset incision distribution, displacement loading angle and internal pressure on the fracture behavior of voided solids are systematically investigated. The results show that crack propagation in voided solids is deflected due to the attraction of preset incisions, with the deflection degree increasing as the preset incision spacing decreases. The presence of internal pressure significantly reduces the fracture resistance of the structure, and the combined effect of preset incision and internal pressure intensifies crack deflection and complicates the propagation path. Meanwhile, factors such as loading angle and preset incision spacing also influence the crack initiation position and propagation path. This study provides a directly applicable theory for internal pressure-induced fracture research of voided solids (any void count) with automatic internal pressure application, offering support for engineering practice.
