Some results on heavy-flavor systems at finite temperature from lattice QCD

In this contribution, I summarize recent lattice QCD results related to heavy flavor. In particular, I focus on the thermal color singlet and octet potentials, which are useful for studying the real-time evolution of quarkonium correlation functions. I then discuss the pseudoscalar quarkonium spectral function obtained using the lattice thermal potential. Finally, I present recent results on the heavy quark momentum diffusion coefficient.

Abstract

In this contribution, I summarize recent lattice QCD results related to heavy flavor. In particular, I focus on the thermal color singlet and octet potentials, which are useful for studying the real-time evolution of quarkonium correlation functions. I then discuss the pseudoscalar quarkonium spectral function obtained using the lattice thermal potential. Finally, I present recent results on the heavy quark momentum diffusion coefficient.
