Increasing Stability for the Inverse Source Problem of the Schrödinger Operator

ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider the stability of the inverse source problem for the Schrödinger operator with a compactly supported potential in . Using the Fourier transform in time, we reduce our inverse source problem to finding the initial data in the hyperbolic value problem by the lateral Cauchy data. The stability estimate consists of the Lipschitz type data discrepancy and the logarithmic high frequency tail of the potential function. The method is based on the Fourier transform and explicit bounds for analytic continuation.
