Analysis of the Current Situation of AI Visual Therapy Systems in Art Psychotherapy —Focusing on China's “Qixin Port·AI Visual Therapy”

This study uses OH Card Therapy (full name: Open-ended Projective Card Therapy, hereafter referred to as OH Card Therapy) as a key emotional projection tool in art psychotherapy. Characterized by openness and symbolism, it offers new possibilities for the integration of AI technology. The research begins with a case study centered on the &quotQixinhang (Guangzhou Qinglan Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd.) AI Visual Healing System,&quot exploring the user experience of generative AI intervention in OH Card Therapy and identifying issues encountered during use. Firstly, this study is grounded in the theoretical framework of art psychotherapy, with OH Card Therapy as the methodological basis, selecting the &quotQixinhang AI Visual Healing System&quot in China as the subject of investigation. Based on the above theories and case, through the researcher’s systematic usage experience and qualitative textual analysis, the study analyzes and reveals the operational mechanisms and psychological processes of AI intervention within the fixed card image library and word bank framework. It also examines the system’s features and problems in guiding prompts, card interpretation, and conclusion generation, proposing practical optimization suggestions and offering a theoretical paradigm for the integration of art psychotherapy and digital technology. The findings indicate that generative AI can not only expand the visual symbolism of OH Cards and externalize individual emotions with greater accuracy but also introduce new issues such as image concretization and interpretive dependency. The paper concludes with an analysis of the system’s advantages and existing problems, emphasizing that generative AI should serve as an aid rather than a replacement interpreter. The research provides a theoretical basis and methodological insights for the digital transformation of art psychotherapy and offers considerations for the ethical and cultural construction of integrating domestic generative AI into art psychological service systems in China.
