Abstract

In this work, we employ the quark-meson coupling model to investigate the mass shifts of <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <a:mn>1</a:mn> <a:mi>P</a:mi> </a:math> -wave charmonia <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <c:msub> <c:mi>χ</c:mi> <c:mrow> <c:mi>c</c:mi> <c:mi>J</c:mi> </c:mrow> </c:msub> <c:mo stretchy="false">(</c:mo> <c:mn>1</c:mn> <c:mi>P</c:mi> <c:mo stretchy="false">)</c:mo> </c:math> ( <g:math xmlns:g="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <g:mi>J</g:mi> <g:mo>=</g:mo> <g:mn>0</g:mn> </g:math> , 1, 2) in cold symmetric nuclear matter by incorporating in-medium loop contributions to the <i:math xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <i:msub> <i:mi>χ</i:mi> <i:mrow> <i:mi>c</i:mi> <i:mi>J</i:mi> </i:mrow> </i:msub> <i:mo stretchy="false">(</i:mo> <i:mn>1</i:mn> <i:mi>P</i:mi> <i:mo stretchy="false">)</i:mo> </i:math> self-energy within the unquenched picture.
