Effects of phase noise on MOCZ-based THz communication
In this paper, the effects of phase noise (PN) on Modulation on Conjugate-Reciprocal Zeros (MOCZ)-based terahertz (THz) communication systems are investigated. By simulating phase noise using optical source characteristics, the resulting bit error ratio (BER) is evaluated and MOCZ performance is compared with conventional Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). The results highlight the resilience of MOCZ in the presence of PN and provide insights into its potential for reliable communication in challenging environments.
